چکیده

During the past few decades, hybrid nanoparticles (HNPs) based on a magnetic material and gold have attracted interest for applications in catalysis, diagnostics nanomedicine. In this paper, CoFe2O4/Au HNPs with an average particle size of 20 nm, decorated 2 nm clusters, were prepared using methionine as reducer anchor between CoFe2O4 gold. The was used to grow Au clusters solid shell (up 10 deposition cycles). obtained (NPs) studied by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) UV-vis techniques. TEM images showed that surface cobalt ferrite covered nanoclusters, which slightly increased increase number cycles (from 2.12 ± 0.15 after 1 cycle 2.46 0.13 density insignificantly decreased during repeated stages deposition: 21.4 2.7 NPs/CoFe2O4 NP cycle, 19.0 1.2 6 18.0 1.4 cycles. measurements possessed typical ferrimagnetic behavior, corresponds nanoparticles. toxicity evaluation synthesized Chlorella vulgaris indicated they can be applied biomedical such hyperthermia, photothermal therapy, drug delivery, bioimaging biosensing.

Characterization of ferrite nanoparticles for preparation of biocomposites

Ferrite nanoparticles with nominal composition Me0.5Fe2.5O4 (Me = Co, Fe, Ni or Mn) have been successfully prepared by the wet chemical method. The obtained particles have a mean diameter of 11-16 ± 2 nm and were modified to improve their magnetic properties and chemical activity. The surface of the pristine nanoparticles was functionalized afterwards with -COOH and -NH2 groups to obtain a bioa...

Monitoring Endothelial and Tissue Responses to Cobalt Ferrite Nanoparticles and Hybrid Hydrogels

Iron oxide nanoparticles (NPs) have been proposed for many biomedical applications as in vivo imaging and drug delivery in cancer treatment, but their toxicity is an ongoing concern. When NPs are intravenously administered, the endothelium represents the first barrier to tissue diffusion/penetration. However, there is little information about the biological effects of NPs on endothelial cells. ...

Preparation and Characterization of Manganese Ferrite Nanoparticles via Co-precipitation Method for Hyperthermia

In this work, Mn ferrite nanopowders were prepared by co-precipitation method and were characterized. Phase identification of the nanopowders was performed by X-ray diffraction method and the mean particle size of the nanopowders was calculated by Scherrer's formula, using necessary corrections. Magnetic parameters of the prepared nanopowders were measured by a vibrating sample magnetome...
